CAMP SPINOZA 2016
LAURINBURG – Camp Spinoza is a weekend of fun, exploration and sharing for kids between the ages of 5 and 13 who have experienced the recent loss of a loved one. Offered free of charge, Camp Spinoza allows children to enjoy traditional camp activities with trained counselors, while also providing opportunities to share their emotions and feelings about grief with others who are experiencing the same thing.
From June 3- 5, Scotland Regional Hospice welcomed over 30 children to Camp Spinoza which takes place at the Monroe Camp and Retreat Center in Laurel Hill. The kids participated in campfire stories, crafts, water games, nature walks, and other outdoor activities.
