SCOTLAND REGIONAL HOSPICE ACHIEVES ACCREDITATION

11/16/2016

Scotland Regional Hospice is celebrating National Hospice Month by proudly announcing its approval of accreditation with DEEMED status by Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for hospice care services and hospice inpatient care services. This accreditation is effective until August 1, 2019.

Achieving accreditation is a voluntary process where healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Accreditation by ACHC reflects Scotland Regional Hospice’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

ACHC is a not-for-profit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986. ACHC is ISO 9001:2008 certified and has CMS Deeming Authority for Home Health, Hospice, and DMEPOS.

Scotland Regional Hospice is a not-for-profit organization that has been committed to providing exceptional, compassionate end-of-life care to people in our community since 1986. Earlier this year, Scotland Regional Hospice was named a 2016 Hospice Honors recipient by Deyta Analytics, which recognizes hospices agencies that provide the highest level of quality care as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.
